Today we'll look at the fastening method of plastic mold components.
There are eight fastening method of plastic mold components:
.Fastener Fixation Method:Parts are usually connected by positioning pins and screws.
.Pressing method: characterized by strong and reliable connection, used for assembling punches with large unloading force.
.Riveting method: a groove is cut along the outer contour of the punch. The groove depth can be determined by the working condition of the plastic mold components. Then the die is loaded into the fixing plate. Finally, the punch is extruded with the fixing plate material around the punch.
.Hot jacket method: the fit of die jacket and concave module adopts larger interference. When the connection of over-crown fit only plays a fixed role, the over-crown should be smaller, and the over-crown should be larger when the prestress of the connection is increased.
.Welding method: Mainly used for equipment of carbide punch and concave die, brass solder, slow cooling after welding.
.Low Melting Point Alloy Method: Low Melting Point Alloys expand in volume during condensation and use this characteristic to fix parts.
.Epoxy resin bonding method: After hardening, it has strong bonding force to metal and non-metal, high bonding strength, good chemical stability, and simple bonding method with small shrinkage. However, the hardness is low and high temperature resistant, generally less than 100 degrees.
.Inorganic bonding method: Phosphoric acid solution with aluminium hydroxide is mixed quantitatively with copper oxide powder. The bonding strength is high, the wear resistance is good, but the impact resistance is poor, and the acid and alkali resistance is not good.
