For tungsten carbide mold parts, I believe that many friends of the mold industry  need to use them. So how to maintain tungsten carbide mold parts? How to dispose to achieve the best condition?
The first step, tungsten carbide mold parts need to be cleaned after use.
General tungsten steel parts products will exist difference in processing depth and size in the process of machining. So it is possible to change knife in halfway. The knife changed in midway usually will stick on some iron filings more or less. In order to facilitate the next use, try to use blow air pressure gun to remove the iron filings, and keep clean and then put away.
The second step, put tungsten carbide mold parts back into the box after clean.
The material hardness of tungsten carbide plate is high. If they are accidentally met or off the ground, it may cause the breakage of the blade. Most often, the knife with gaps can’t be used. It is suggested that tungsten carbide mold parts put back into the box after clean.
The third step, tungsten carbide plate don't need anti-rust oil.
Because the main ingredients of tungsten carbide are cobalt tungsten carbide (WC) and Co, there is no iron component. As long as it doesn't glue the cutting fluid, it won't produce corrosion.
These three points above are the methods to maintain tungsten carbide mold parts. Maintain tungsten carbide mold parts well can lengthen its service life, and greatly enhance working efficiency.
